Account Executive, Krupa Consulting

Krupa Consulting, a boutique public relations and branding firm, is looking for an Account Executive.


A few things interested candidates should know before we get into details:  

  • In this role, you’ll be working with intentional brands within the CPG, lifestyle, and wellness landscapes. A successful candidate will be a creative and strategic thinker who can bring fresh ideas with a strong sense of work ethic to execute.

  • This is a full time role that requires at least two years of experience, however, the team is open to candidates who have less experience but bring additional skill sets to the table. 

  • Potential candidates will be asked to provide a short idea and writing sample from a provided guide.

Job Description:

Krupa Consulting is seeking a hands-on publicist with extensive food, wellness and/or lifestyle media contacts. A successful candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and have PR experience with food and lifestyle brands. You must be able to wear multiple hats and start pitching immediately. 

In this role you will: 

  • Build and organize strategic media lists.

  • Pitch and secure strong press placements. 

  • Assist in account management and day-to-day client-facing communications.

  • Brainstorm creative brand & influencer synergies and partnerships for clients, as well as assist with execution.

  • Be an active participant in team discussions and use your voice to share ideas that will improve our clients.

  • Manage monthly reports and related correspondence to clients. 

  • Assist in the coordination and logistics of client events and follow up with media post-event. (Post-COVID-19, when events are back in session)


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years of PR experience in lifestyle, food/consumer packaged goods, and/or wellness PR. 

  • Must have a proactive, hard-working, and positive attitude.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Experience with supporting and maintaining client accounts.

  • The ability to pitch trends and product round-up stories as well as think outside the box to create non-traditional press pitches, activations and brand partnerships.

  • Experience with Cision, Excel, Word, Google Docs, PowerPoint, Adobe, and other press driving programs.

  • Comfortable building media relationships and crafting pitches. 

  • Highly sophisticated client communication skills.

  • Strong ability to take charge and desire to grow with the company.


Time Commitment, and Salary:

  • This is a full time role. 

  • Salary range: $55,000-$60,000
